Founded in 2016, Little Professor was created with a bold mission: to transform Chinese learning from dull memorisation into a fun, meaningful, and visual experience for every child. Inspired by Jerome Bruner’s CPA (Concrete Pictorial Abstract) Approach, we believe children learn best when they are actively involved — through seeing, touching, exploring, and imagining.

Our curriculum features over 1,500 beautifully crafted pictorial visuals that turn complex Chinese characters into simple, memorable images. Designed to be 90% instantly recognisable, these visuals help young learners connect with the language in a natural and intuitive way. We blend visual learning with interactive stories, role play, and hands-on activities to deepen understanding in reading, writing, and character recognition. With a class size of just 6 students per group, every child receives personalised attention, 1-on-1 assessments and tailored support to ensure real learning outcomes.

Our Panda Story

Pandas may be giant animals, but they start life tiny — weighing just 100 grams at birth, about the size of a stick of butter! Born pink, hairless, and blind, panda cubs depend entirely on care and time to grow. In just a few years, though, these fragile newborns transform into strong, majestic creatures weighing up to 150 kilograms! Here at Little Professor, we love this story — because just like pandas, big things start small. And with the right care, attention, and time, amazing growth can happen.
